TD Power Systems (TDPS) has signed a long term license agreement with Siemens AG. Under this agreement, TDPS will receive from Siemens, the know-how for manufacture of industrial, air-cooled, 2-pole AC generators in the range of 74 MVA in India.
The new line of generator will be manufactured from the company’s facilities located at Dabaspet Industrial Area on the outskirts of Bangalore, which are proposed to be enhanced to meet the standards and requirements for manufacture of advanced generators. The company expects commercial production to commence within a period of 24 months.
