Kajaria Ceramics has acquired 51% shareholding in Vennar Ceramics for a total consideration of Rs 13.65 crore. Pursuant to this acquisition, Vennar Ceramics has become the subsidiary of the company. Vennar Ceramics is having registered office located at Hyderabad and factory is situated at Krishna District in Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier, Kajaria Ceramics had received an approval for acquisition of 51% stake in Vennar Ceramics by way of subscribing to fresh equity share capital of the company. The board at its meeting held on March 31, 2012 had approved for the same.
Vennar Ceramics is in advanced stage of putting up a plant to produce 2.30 million square meters per annum of high end ceramic wall tiles, the addition of which would take the total annual capacity of Kajaria Ceramics to 38.30 million square meters including 10 million capacity of subsidiaries.
Kajaria Ceramics manufactures more than 400 options of flooring solutions such as wall tiles, floor tiles, vitrified tiles and Spanish and Italian tiles. The tiles major market these products under the brand name Kajaria, Kerrogres, Eternity, Aparici, Saloni ceramica, Ergon and GRESPANIA Ceramica.
