Bombay Dyeing trades with traction on the bourses

Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company is currently trading at Rs. 45.35, up by 0.70 points or 1.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 44.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 45.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 45.55 and Rs. 44.30 respectively. So far 120371 shares were traded on the counter.

Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company has entered into a Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) agreement with the workers of its Textile processing Unit located at Ranjangaon, Pune district in state of Maharashtra. The board of directors at its meeting held on August 10, 2016 has approved for the same.

The Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company is a holding company that is engaged in finishing of cotton and blended cotton textiles; manufacturing of bedding, quilts, pillows and sleeping bags; real estate activities, and manufacturing of polyester Staple Fiber (PSF).
