MRF has been featured in the ‘JD Power Customer Satisfaction Index Study 2012’ making it three-times in a row. The company has been ranked the highest and this is the ninth time in the last 12 years that the Chennai-based company has topped the study. For the year 2012, MRF achieved a score of 841 which is much ahead of the industry average of 825. Compared to 2011, the company improved by 8 points and performed particularly well across all factors.
The study has revealed that high levels of customer satisfaction with original equipment tyres have a strong positive effect on replacement purchases. Customers are highly satisfied with their original equipment tyres are twice as likely to repurchase their current tyre brand when buying replacement tyres, compared with customers who are less satisfied.
The 2012 Indian Original Equipment Tyre Customer Satisfaction Index Studies is based on responses from new vehicle owners surveyed at 12 and 24 months of ownership.
