Global Cloud Xchange, a subsidiary of Reliance Communications (RCom), has unveiled the country's first software-defined wide-area network (SD WAN) solution-in-a-box for its enterprise customers. The solution dubbed as Cloud X WAN is best suited for India's challenging environment to address last-mile connectivity. It is targeting banks, government departments and others firms having offices across the country.
As digital innovation continues to push the Wide Area Network (WAN) boundaries globally, CIOs are forced to look for ways they can do more with less, especially as IT budgets across market segments have generally remained flat. Cloud X WAN will provide cloud-based managed services globally across the company’s proprietary Cloud X platform; a leading edge Cloud ecosystem and multi-service orchestration platform implemented in key hubs along GCX’s Global subsea network infrastructure.
Reliance Communications, the flagship company of the Reliance Group, is India's foremost and truly-integrated telecommunications service provider.
