Cox and Kings-owned Meininger Hotels and Hirotani Projektgesellschaft mbH have signed an agreement to open new hotel in Heidelberg, Germany. The hotel will be located at the Carl-Benz-street 4-6 close to the central station. The opening of the first Meininger hotel in Heidelberg is planned for the beginning of 2019 with a lease term of 20 years. Meininger currently operates 16 hotels in 10 European cities.
