Nestle India trades high on the bourses

Nestle India is currently trading at Rs. 6300.00, up by 29.10 points or 0.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 6270.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 6320.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6401.15 and Rs. 6291.05 respectively. So far 1540 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 7390.00 on 29-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4990.00 on 29-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 6499.90 and Rs. 5892.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 60741.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.76%, while institutions and non-institutions held 20.12% and 17.11% respectively.

Nestle India is aiming to draw support towards the corporate social initiative, ‘Educate The Girl Child’ in association with Nanhi Kali. For this, the company recreates the iconic song, 'School Chale Hum' originally produced by Bharatbala, in order to create awareness for the cause of girl child education. This song represents the collective societal objective to spread awareness and evangelize support for the cause.
