Procter & Gamble to establish new plant in Andhra Pradesh

In a bid to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and increasing footprint in India, FMCG major Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care is planning to establish new plant in Andhra Pradesh. The manufacturing facility would aim at generating significant local employment and supporting the education of underprivileged children in the plant's community.

At present, the company has five plants and over nine contract manufacturing sites in the country.

Established in 1989, P&G India currently serves over 65 crore consumers in India. Its presence pans across various segments including Health and Well Being. The company sells various brands in the country including Vicks, Ariel, Tide, Whisper, Olay and Pantene.
