Dr Reddy’s Lab gets USFDA’s approval for ibandronate sodium tablets

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has received US Food and Drug Administration’s (USFDA) approval for selling ibandronate sodium tablets used to treat osteoporosis. The tablets are the generic version of Boniva, a brand sold by a unit of Swiss drugmaker Roche.

Recently, the company launched Olanzapine tablets (2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 15mg), a bioequivalent generic version of ZYPREXA tablets in the US market on April 23, 2012 following the approval by the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) of the company's ANDA for Olanzapine tablets.
