Benares Hotels touches the roof on reporting 3.14% rise in Q4 net profit

Benares Hotels is currently locked in its upper circuit limit of Rs. 571.80, up by 27.20 points or 4.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 544.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 550.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 571.80 and Rs. 550.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 544.60 on 03-May-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 460.00 on 02-Sep-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 571.80 and Rs. 500.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 74.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.46% while Non-Institutions held 37.54%.

Benares Hotels has reported results for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012.

On the standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 3.14% in its net profit at Rs 2.63 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 2.55 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 21.37% at Rs 12.15 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 10.01 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
