Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege programme - India’s largest frequent flyer programme, has swept the annual Freddie Awards 2012, held in New York, by bagging a prestigious triple honors. JetPrivilege won in three categories namely ‘Program of the Year’, ‘Best Promotion for Earning - The JetPrivilege -Trip Advisor Promotion’ and ‘Best Customer Service’ in the Middle East/Oceania/Asia region.
The Freddie Awards are widely regarded as the most important awards of their kind in the airline industry in the area of customer loyalty programmes. The Regional Vice President Americas, Jet Airways, received the awards on behalf of the airline at a glittering ceremony in New York on April 26, 2012, in the presence of dignitaries from the travel and trade industry.
Besides, the airline had previously been honoured at the Freddie Awards for five consecutive years, from 2004 to 2008, in the Japan, Pacific, Asia and Australia region.
Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 101 aircraft, which includes 10 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 12 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 59 next generation Boeing 737-700/800/900 aircraft and 20 modern ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft. With an average fleet age of 5.81 years, the airline has one of the youngest aircraft fleets in the world. Jet Airways and Jet Konnect have a combined fleet strength of 121 aircraft and operate over 620 flights daily.
