Royal Orchid Hotels jumps on acquiring 24.9% stake in Amartara Hospitality

Royal Orchid Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 82.65, up by 6.65 points or 8.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 76.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 75.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 86.40 and Rs. 75.20 respectively. So far 56481 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 109.90 on 12-Jan-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.60 on 17-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 86.40 and Rs. 74.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 227.68 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.79%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.06% and 29.15% respectively.

Royal Orchid Hotels has acquired 24.9% shares in Amartara Hospitality, a subsidiary of the company. Upon acquisition of shares, Amartara Hospitality has become 100% subsidiary of Royal Orchid Hotels.

The company held 75.10% stake in Amartara Hospitality and has acquired additional 24.90% stake held by joint venture partner. The acquisition is a part of settlement agreement between the joint venture partners.
