However, total income has increased by 4.29% at Rs 5310.74 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5092.22 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 228.13% in its net profit at Rs 302.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 92.19 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Its total income has increased by 8.08% to Rs 1397.91 crore for the January- March, 2012 from Rs 1293.44 crore for similar quarter of the previous year.
For full year ended, group has posted a rise of 70.07% in its net profit at Rs 1095.45 crore as compared to Rs 644.13 crore in the previous year. However, total income has registered growth of 6.05% at Rs 5587.86 crore for the year under review against Rs 5269.08 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011.
