Morgan Stanley buys 1.8% stake in Gulf Oil

Morgan Stanley Investment Funds’ Indian Equity Fund has purchased 8.785 lakh shares or 1.77 percent stake of Gulf Oil Lubricants (India) on June 9 at Rs 810 a share. Local Government Superannuation Scheme, an Australia-based pension fund manager, was the seller.

As of March 31, 2017, Morgan Stanley Investment held 8.758 lakh shares, or 1.76 per cent stake, in the company.

Gulf Oil Lubricants India is one of the leading private sector players in the lubricant industry & currently the fastest growing lubricant marketer in India.
