Apollo Hospitals introduces air ambulance service network

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has introduced Air Ambulance Service Network to bring in patients in emergency from various parts of the country, especially from the smaller cities and towns to the major cities. In this regard, the company has entered into partnership with Bengaluru-based Air Aviators Rescue, which currently offers air ambulance service on subscription basis.

While the company has been using air ambulance services since 2003, extending it to cities such as Delhi and Bengaluru, it is for the first time it has entered into a partnership with an aircraft operator. This would be a pilot project, based on which it would extend the service to other parts of the country.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise owns and operates chain of multi-specialty hospitals. It offers the services in the area of cardiology, cardiothoracic, orthopedics and joint replacement, spine surgery, oncology, etc.
