Tata Steel’s Sukinda Chromite Mine (SCM) located in Sukinda Block of Jajapur district of Odisha has bagged four awards during Half Yearly Safety Week Celebrations organized under the aegis of Director General of Mine safety (DGMS), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, Bhubaneswar region.
SCM received the first prize in Electrical Safety, Code of Practices / Safe Operating Procedure of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery Maintenance (HEMMs) and Monsoon Preparedness and second prize in Penetration of OMMS Application in the mine.
