Allied Computers to launch low-cost laptop in mid-June

Allied Computers International (Asia) is all set to launch super low-cost laptop in the Indian market at Rs 4,999 with 10 inches screen in mid-June. The company will also unveil other low-cost models include laptop PC for lower-mid class segment at Rs 9,999.

Further, the company will offer the latest third generation model -- housing Intel i7 -- with 32GB RAM - fastest gaming laptop ever built - first laptop in India with RAM exceeding 8GB for Rs 49,999.

In a bid to provide low-cost computing devices for students, recently the government, under National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology, made attempt to come out with low cost computing device -- Aakash -- tablets for $35 which was later finalized at price of about $49.

Allied Computers International offers laptops and PCs in the Indian market with innovative design. It is engaged in assembly of laptop and notebook computers, chip level repairs of motherboard, screen, DVD and hardware of all brands of computers and development of software required in hardware and security.
