L&T Finance Holdings' received good response on second day and was subscribed 1.22 times, as per the data available with the NSE, total bid of 260779100 shares were received for the issue of 214508067 shares, while 154393700 bids were received at the cut-off price.
QIB portion was subscribed 0.60 times, non institutional investors’ portion was subscribed 0.06 times and the retail portion was subscribed 1.31 times on day two.
The company has fixed a price band of Rs 51-59 per share to raise Rs 1,245 crore through IPO which closes on July 29, 2011.
The IPO proceeds will be used to augment the capital base of L&T Finance and L&T Infra to meet the capital requirements arising out of expected growth in their assets, primarily the loan portfolio, and for other general corporate purposes. JM Financial, Citigroup and HSBC are among the book running lead manager to the issue.
