Cochin Shipyard emerges as L1 bidder for 16 X ASW SWC Project for Indian Navy

Cochin Shipyard has emerged as the L1 bidder for 16 X ASW SWC Project for the Indian Navy. The contract is for eight vessels at a cost of about Rs 5,400 crore and is expected to be concluded with the Ministry of Defence after due process. The order was bagged against a competitive tender issued by the Ministry of Defence in which both private and public sector yards had participated.

Cochin Shipyard is the first Greenfield and presently the most modern shipbuilding and ship repair yard in India. The company caters to clients engaged in India’s defence segment and global commercial shipping sector.
