Anil Ambani Group company Reliance Capital has acquired 18% stake in Grover Zampa Wines of Grover Vineyards. This is the company’s second wine investment after buying stake in the now troubled Indage Vintners.
The purchase will assist Grover Vineyards and Valle de Vin to develop new winery operations in grape producing regions of Maharashtra and Karnataka states in India.
Alcobev industry veterans Jain and Roy co-founded Valle de Vin under Zampa brand and it is Located at Nashik in Maharashtra, whereas Grover Vineyards is located at Doddaballapur near Bangalore. Both the firms will take 50% of the ownership in the new winery operations and leave the rest to new investors.
