Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management has debuted at Rs 294.00 on the BSE, up by 42 points or 16.67% from its issue price of Rs 219.
The scrip is currently trading at Rs 287.20, up by 35.20 points or 13.97% from its issue price. It has touched a high and low of Rs 298.70 and Rs 278.00 respectively. So far 31,07,000 shares were traded on the counter.
The offering, which was open for subscription between October 25 and October 27, was subscribed 81.54 times. The issue price was fixed at Rs 252 per share i.e. at upper end of price band of Rs 247 - 252 apiece.
The core business of the company is undertaking construction projects across India in the roads and irrigation sectors. They specialize in constructing state and national highways, city roads, culverts and bridges. As a result of the natural growth of their road construction business, as well as the recent government support to the infrastructure sector and rising opportunities in new business areas, they recently expanded into the irrigation and urban development businesses.
