IOC inaugurates India’s first electric vehicle charging station in Nagpur

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has inaugurated India’s first electric vehicle charging station in Nagpur. The company has set up the same in partnership with cab aggregator Ola.

Nagpur, being the first city to introduce the electric public transportation model in India, has added one more feather to its cap by adding the first electric charging station at Indian Oil’s COCO (company-owned, company-operated) fuel station in the city.

IOC is the largest enterprise in the country and the foremost ranked Fortune Global 500 Company in India and has presence in the complete hydrocarbon value chain from downstream refining & marketing, pipeline transportation, Petrochemicals, E&P and Gas Marketing.
