Bharti Airtel rings loud on the buzz of acquiring strategic stake in Juggernaut Books

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 490.00, up by 6.75 points or 1.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 483.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 485.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 491.90 and Rs. 484.85 respectively. So far 68486 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 565.00 on 03-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 289.25 on 26-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 500.40 and Rs. 481.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 195952.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.14%, while institutions and non-institutions held 26.28% and 6.58% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has reportedly acquired a strategic stake in Juggernaut Books, a popular digital platform to discover and read high quality, affordable books and to submit amateur writing. The investment is in line with the company’s endeavour to build an open content ecosystem and bring world-class digital content to its customers.

The investment from the company will enable Juggernaut to ramp up content acquisition and digital marketing and prepare for a subscription offering launch in the next few months.
