Tata Steel inaugurates centre to train persons with disabilities

Tata Steel has inaugurated a centre -- SABAL -- for abilities on the occasion of International Day for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in its operational area at Noamundi in West Singhbhum district.

SABAL will groom PWD for a brighter future by offering various courses such as training for trainers programme, disability awareness workshops, digital literacy programme, career awareness workshops, foundation course in computer and employability and similar need-based initiatives.

Tata Steel, the flagship company of the Tata group is the first integrated steel plant in Asia and is now the world’s second most geographically diversified steel producer and a Fortune 500 Company.
