Reliance Power’s arm awards contracts for Bangladesh power project

Reliance Power’s step-down subsidiaries incorporated in Bangladesh - Reliance Bangladesh LNG & Power has awarded a project for setting up 750 MW LNG Based Combined Cycle Power Project at Meghnaghat (near Dhaka), Bangladesh. It has awarded EPC Contract to Reliance Infrastructure and equipment supply contract to Samalkot Power.

The company’s another step-down subsidiary - Reliance Bangladesh LNG Terminal has awarded EPC contract for setting up 500 mmscfd LNG Terminal Project at Kutubdia Island (near Chittagong), Bangladesh to Reliance Infrastructure.

Reliance Power, a part of the Reliance Group, is India’s leading private sector power generation and coal resources company. The company has the largest portfolio of power projects in the private sector, based on coal, gas, hydro and renewable energy.
