BASF India trades higher on the bourses

BASF India is currently trading at Rs. 2006.60, up by 41.40 points or 2.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 1965.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1987.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2006.60 and Rs. 1975.00 respectively. So far 303 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2075.00 on 22-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1025.00 on 07-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2060.00 and Rs. 1940.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8673.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.33%, while institutions and non-institutions held 9.74% and 16.92% respectively.

Credit rating agency, India Ratings and Research has assigned ‘Al+’ rating to BASF India’s Commercial Paper programme of Rs 750 crore. Instruments with this rating are considered to have very strong degree of safety regarding timely payment of financial obligations and carry lowest credit risk. This is in addition to the credit rating of ‘A1+’ awarded to the company by CRISIL for its Commercial Paper programme.

BASF India is a chemical manufacturing company. It operates in the business segments of agricultural solutions, performance products, plastics businesses and chemicals. The agricultural solutions include insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and specialties.
