M&M to hike vehicle prices by up to 3% from January 2018

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) plans to increase prices of its passenger and commercial vehicles by up to 3%. This will be effective from January 1, 2018. The company has been holding back on price hikes and absorbing the higher input costs for a while, but with the increase in commodity prices it will have to take a price increase.

M&M is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
