JSW Energy gains on entering into MoU with Government of Maharashtra

JSW Energy is currently trading at Rs. 79.75, up by 0.75 points or 0.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 79.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 80.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 80.80 and Rs. 79.50 respectively. So far 39,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 97.50 on 12-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 59.65 on 30-May-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 83.35 and Rs. 78.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13,063.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.30% and 11.71% respectively.

JSW Energy has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra for manufacturing of Electric Vehicles (EV) and Energy Storage Systems.

In addition to the earlier MoU with the Government of Gujarat with respect to EV manufacturing and associated businesses, the company has now entered into another MoU with the Government of Maharashtra for setting up facilities for the manufacturing of EV and Energy Storage Systems in the state of Maharashtra, subject to receipt of internal corporate approvals.
