Starlite Components rises with JV bagging order worth Rs 335 crore

Starlite Components is currently trading at Rs. 57.00, up by 1.15 points or 2.06% from its previous closing of Rs. 55.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 55.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 60.90 and Rs. 55.00 respectively. So far 255129 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 70.00 on 19-Dec-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 41.00 on 07-Jul-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 60.90 and Rs. 50.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 98.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.67%, while Non-Institutions held 48.33% stake in the company.

Starlite Components in Joint Venture with Virtuoso OptoElectronics has bagged a contract of around Rs 335 crore from the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies. The contract is for replacement of existing street lights with energy efficient LED street lights, installation of centralized control and monitoring system panel or smart lighting system along with operation and maintenance for a period of 10.5 years in the areas covered under Municipal Corporations, Councils and Committees within Hisar, Karnal and Sonepat districts, covering a total of 15 cities.

Starlite Components is engaged in providing Electronic Ballast, Lamp Components and Drivers and Lighting Fixtures, Fittings and Light-emitting diode (LED) Lamps.
