KNR Constructions’ subsidiary - KNR Muzaffarpur Barauni Tollway (KMBTPL), has signed the financing documents with Punjab National Bank, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Patiala and Corporation Bank for the Muzaffarpur-Barauni section project.
KMBTPL is implementing project for two laning of Muzaffarpur-Barauni section of NH-28 from KM 519.600 to KM 627.000 in the State of Bihar under NHDP Phase IVB through Public Private Partnership (PPP) on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) toll basis.
The project cost is Rs 359.09 crore which would be financed by means of equity of Rs 109.09 crore and debt of Rs 250.00 crore. As per the concession agreement executed by KMBTPL with NHAI, the concession period for the project is 21 years including construction period of 710 days. Further, JKM Infra Projects, a Delhi based infrastructure company has been introduced in the KMBTPL as 49% stake holder.
