Tata Steel achieved a 6.88% rise in production in FY18 to 12.48 million tonne (MT) in its Indian operations with sales increasing by 10.97% to 12.13 MT during the year. In Europe, however, the company’s sales remained flat during the fiscal at 9.93 MT, while production showed a marginal rise to 10.68 MT over 10.56 MT in FY17. In Q4FY18, Tata Steel India reported a production of 3.07 MT with sales at 3.01 MT.
