Cochin Shipyard (CSL) has completed a damage survey on MODU Sagar Bhushan. As per the assessment, the expected loss to CSL on account of the fire incident onboard MODU Sagar Bhushan worth Rs 18.51 crore.

However, CSL has an insurance cover for the vessel under Ship Repairer's liability policy for Rs 15 crore. The claim has been lodged with the insurance Company.

Earlier, a fire incident onboard MODU Sagar Bhushan on February 13, 2018.
