Sagar Cements strengthens on reporting 29.15% rise in April production on consolidated basis

Sagar Cements is currently trading at Rs. 994.90, up by 7.90 points or 0.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 987.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 970.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 998.75 and Rs. 969.35 respectively. So far 1473 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1161.40 on 04-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 773.00 on 11-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1115.00 and Rs. 940.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1978.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.93% and 32.04% respectively.

Sagar Cements has reported the cement production and sales figures for April 2018. The company’s consolidated Cement production for April 2018 stood at 261,685 million tonnes (MT), up by 29.15% compared to 202,621 MT produced (including cement purchase) in April 2017.

Further, the consolidated Cement sales for April 2018 stood at 252,148 MT, up by 34.75% compared to 187,128 MT sold in April 2017.
