Amara Raja Batteries trades in green on the BSE

Amara Raja Batteries is currently trading at Rs. 306.95, up by 1.25 points or 0.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 305.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 306.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 308.95 and Rs. 306.50 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 324.00 on 19-Apr-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 179.00 on 30-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 313.50 and Rs. 302.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2634.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.06% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.87% and 22.07% respectively.  

Credit rating agency, CRISIL has reaffirmed Amara Raja Batteries rating of the total bank loan facilities of Rs 60 crore (reduced from Rs 326.40 crore). The rating agency has also reaffirmed AA/Stable rating to long term bank facilities of the company while, it reaffirmed A1+ rating to short term bank facilities of the company.

Amara Raja Batteries (ARBL) is engaged in manufacturing of industrial and automotive batteries. It was founded in 1985. ARBL was first to introduce Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries with three-year warranty in industrial and automotive applications.
