DCM Shriram gains on getting licence to manufacture 3,000 bullet-proof vehicles

DCM Shriram is currently trading at Rs. 315.00, up by 1.80 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 313.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 312.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 317.00 and Rs. 310.05 respectively. So far 11089 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 628.05 on 22-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 222.55 on 16-May-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 323.00 and Rs. 288.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5042.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.88%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.31% and 22.79% respectively.

DCM Shriram has received the 'industrial licence' for the life-time from the Arms Licence Authority under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) to manufacture annually 3,000 bullet-proof vehicles including armoured multi-role vehicles and specialist vehicles. The company has also got the licence for manufacturing annually 500 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) along with ground data terminal, ground control stations and launchers.

DCM Shriram is engaged in the business of fertilizer, sugar and caustic soda.
