Andhra Bank gains on receiving Rs 2,019 crore capital infusion from GoI

Andhra Bank is currently trading at Rs. 32.15, up by 0.10 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 32.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 32.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 32.75 and Rs. 32.05 respectively. So far 157200 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 73.45 on 26-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.30 on 17-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 32.75 and Rs. 29.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3884.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 77.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.52% and 10.49% respectively.

Andhra Bank has received an amount of Rs 2,019 crore towards contribution of the Central Government in the preferential allotment equity shares of the Bank. The said amount will remain in Share Application Money till all of shares on preferential basis to the Government of India after receipt of all requisite statutory/regulatory approvals including approval of shareholders.
