Oriental Bank of Commerce falls on reporting net loss of Rs 393.21 crore in Q1

Oriental Bank of Commerce is currently trading at Rs. 71.35, down by 2.80 points or 3.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 74.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 74.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 77.60 and Rs. 70.95 respectively. So far 836005 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 160.75 on 26-Jul-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 65.80 on 18-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 77.60 and Rs. 66.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4536.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 77.23%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.01% and 6.76% respectively.

The Bank has reported net loss of Rs 393.21 crore for the quarter under review as against net loss of Rs 486.20 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2018. Total income of the Bank decreased by 9.30% at Rs 4729.58 crore for Q1FY19 as compared Rs 5214.44 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 17.89%, as compared to 14.83% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 10.63% in Q1FY19.
