Lemon Tree Hotels moves up on inking license agreement for city hotel in Bhutan

Lemon Tree Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 69.85, up by 0.20 points or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 69.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 79.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 79.00 and Rs. 69.55 respectively. So far 21314 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 91.00 on 23-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 57.30 on 09-Apr-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 79.00 and Rs. 66.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5545.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.24% and 46.91% respectively.

Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a license agreement for a 27 room city hotel in the heart of Thimphu, Bhutan under the company’s brand ‘Lemon Tree Hotel’. The Hotel is expected to be operational by March, 2019.

Carnation Hotels, the hotel management arm of the company will be operating and marketing this Hotel. This is the company’s second foray in Bhutan, the first being a 7 acre resort overlooking the Thimphu Valley.

Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms, as of June 30, 2017.
