Adani Transmission zooms on acquiring stake in Obra-C Badaun Transmission

Adani Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 210.80, up by 10.10 points or 5.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 200.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 210.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 210.80 and Rs. 202.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 256.30 on 28-Nov-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 115.00 on 24-May-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 225.00 and Rs. 199.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22073.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.90% and 2.19% respectively.

Adani Transmission has acquired 100% equity share capital of Obra-C Badaun Transmission (OCBTL) from PFC Consulting (PFCCL). OCBTL was incorporated in August, 2018 by PFCCL to build, own, operate and maintain the transmission project in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The project ‘Obra-C Badaun Transmission’ has around 625 ckt kms of line at voltage levels of 765 kV and 400 kV. This project is primarily being constructed to establish Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from 2X660MW Obra-C Thermal Power Project with associated transmission lines. This project has been awarded to the Company through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process.
