MOIL reports 16% rise in Q3 net profit

MOIL has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018.

The company has reported 15.87% rise in its net profit at Rs 120.26 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 103.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 9.47% at Rs 380.12 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 347.23 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
