MOIL surges on commencing production at Parsoda Manganese Mine

MOIL is currently trading at Rs. 156.10, up by 1.95 points or 1.27 % from its previous closing of Rs. 154.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 154.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 158.00 and Rs. 154.00 respectively. So far 11758 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 220.55 on 23-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 140.20 on 21-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 161.90 and Rs. 153.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3990.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.69%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.90% and 16.40% respectively.

MOIL has commenced mine development activities and production (float ore) from new manganese ore mine at Parsoda, 46 kms from Nagpur. 

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
