HDFC Bank inks MoU with Assam Rifles to offer salary accounts, services

HDFC Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Assam Rifles, one of the oldest paramilitary forces in India, to offer salary accounts and services. The MoU was signed on the 184th raising day of Assam Rifles in Shillong in the state of Meghalaya.

More than 60,000 personnel of Assam Rifles and their families will not only be offered salary accounts but also a suite of products and services like Insta-Loans at concessional rates, credit cards and free ATM transactions. Further, the personnel posted in remote corners of India can also avail of banking services through digital platforms like the Bank’s mobile banking app, Net Banking and Missed Call Banking.

HDFC Bank is one of India’s premier banks providing a wide range of financial products and services using multiple distribution channels including a pan-India network of branches, ATMs, phone banking, net banking and mobile banking.
