Jet Airways falls on grounding additional 15 aircraft due to non-payment of lease rentals

Jet Airways (India) is currently trading at Rs. 256.75, down by 8.15 points or 3.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 264.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 257.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 259.10 and Rs. 254.55 respectively. So far 185000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 650.50 on 30-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 163.00 on 01-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 280.00 and Rs. 254.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3009.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.01% and 39.99% respectively.

Jet Airways has grounded 15 more aircraft due to non-payment of rentals to lessors, taking the total number of grounded planes to 69. The fleet strength in the airline has come down to 20 now.
