Allahabad Bank's net loss widens to Rs 3834 crore in Q4

Allahabad Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2019.

The Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 3,834.07 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2019, against net loss of Rs 3,509.63 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the Bank increased by 8.06% at Rs 4602.86 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 4,259.37 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, the Bank has posted a net loss of Rs 8333.96 crore against net loss of Rs 4674.37 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of Bank marginally decreased 2.55% at Rs 18564.50 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 19051.05 crore for the period ended March 31, 2018.

For the year ended March 31, 2019, on the consolidated basis, the Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 8457.38 crore against net loss of Rs 4574.22 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company marginally decreased by 3.50% at Rs 18806.38 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 19487.51 crore for year ended March 31, 2018.
