Jaiprakash Power Ventures (JP Power) has commenced commercial operations of its First Unit of 250 MW of Phase-I (2 x 250 MW = 500 MW) of Jaypee Bina Thermal Power Plant, a division of Jaiprakash Power Ventures. The company has started the plant with effect from August 31, 2012.
JP Power is part of India’s leading Infrastructure conglomerate - Jaypee Group. Currently the company operates the largest hydroelectric power plant in the private sector in India. Its power projects which are in different stages of implementation include Hydro, Thermal and Transmission.
