V-Mart Retail advances on opening two stores

V-Mart Retail is currently trading at Rs. 2111.15, up by 61.15 points or 2.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 2050.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2056.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2116.45 and Rs. 2046.75 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2903.90 on 30-Nov-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1698.30 on 23-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2177.95 and Rs. 2014.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3787.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.46%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.82% and 10.72% respectively.

V-Mart Retail has opened two new stores in the state of Bihar and Assam respectively. With this total number of stores increased to 236 stores in 183 cities across 18 states and total tally of stores in Bihar to 44 and in Assam to 9.

V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
