Oriental Bank of Commerce gains on getting in-principle approval for amalgamation with PNB

Oriental Bank Of Commerce is currently trading at Rs. 62.10, up by 0.10 points or 0.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 62.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 62.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 62.70 and Rs. 61.70 respectively. So far 27151 shares were traded on the counter.

Oriental Bank of Commerce has received in-principle approval for amalgamation of the Bank and United Bank of India into Punjab National Bank (PNB) and commencement of the amalgamation process, subject to all applicable approvals.

The Board of Directors of the Bank in its meeting held on September 18, 2019, approved the same.
