Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) is currently trading at Rs. 16.15, up by 0.45 points or 2.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 15.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 16.45 and Rs. 15.60 respectively. So far 4, 05,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 33.00 on 17-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 14.95 on 30-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 16.70 and Rs. 15.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 979 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.86% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.04% and 32.08% respectively.

HCC, India’s leading infrastructure company, has secured two orders aggregating worth Rs 1534 crore in various business segments.

The first order is for construction of a 10.2km tunnel on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla railway line in Jammu & Kashmir while, the second order is an EPC order for expansion of a section of NH-8 between Vadodara and Surat, which also includes the construction of an extradosed bridge across River Narmada.

HCC is a leader in engineering and construction space. The company has established a vast presence and gained recognition in the sectors of Hydro Power, Water Solutions, Transportation and Nuclear Power.
