Adani Green Energy’s arms get nod to issue bonds worth Rs 2,500 crore

Adani Green Energy’s wholly owned subsidiaries-- Adani Renewable Energy (RJ) (ARERJL), Wardha Solar (Maharashtra) (WSMPL) and Kodangal Solar Parks (KSPPL) and collectively with ARERJL and WSMPL the issuers, have received an approval for the issuance of USD-denominated Rule 144A / Reg S 20-years senior secured green bonds (Notes) aggregating to $362.5 million (over Rs 2,500 crore).

The proceeds from the issue will be used to repay the companies' respective foreign currency loans, rupee borrowing and capital expenditure, other project related liabilities or for general corporate purposes.

Adani Green Energy builds, owns and operates power plants powered by renewable sources of energy like solar and wind.
