Lemon Tree Hotels jumps as its arm opens first hotel in Dubai

Lemon Tree Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 62.00, up by 1.85 points or 3.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 60.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 62.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 62.50 and Rs. 61.50 respectively. So far 22798 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 90.90 on 02-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 48.00 on 13-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 62.50 and Rs. 58.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4907.97 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.24%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.97% and 29.80% respectively.

Lemon Tree Hotels’ management subsidiary -- Carnation Hotels has opened its first hotel in Dubai. The 114-room hotel, owned by Al Waleed Real Estate LLC, is the first branded mid-scale property in the area. The company currently operates around 8,000 rooms in 79 hotels (including Keys hotels) across 47 cities under its various brands.

Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms.
